Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, read our articles and use our resources. This statement explains what we do, where we fall short today and how to tell us about a problem.

01Our commitment

Data & AI Foundry, operated by Yinks Analytics Inc., is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of how we design and write every page.

02What we do

To make the site easier to use, we:

  • Write in plain English and explain technical terms when we use them
  • Use a clear heading structure on every page, so screen readers and keyboard users can move through it
  • Give every page one main heading and descriptive link text, such as "Read article" or "Start the series"
  • Add alternative text to meaningful images and leave decorative images out of the reading order
  • Use text and background colours with strong contrast for headings and body text
  • Make menus, links, buttons and forms usable with a keyboard
  • Avoid flashing content, and reduce motion for visitors who have turned on the "reduce motion" setting on their device
  • Build pages that adjust to phones, tablets and zoomed-in screens

03Known limitations

Some parts of the site do not fully meet our goal yet:

  • Third-party tools: our signup forms (Kit), the spam protection on those forms and payment checkout are provided by other companies. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we do not control how their tools are built.
  • Downloadable files: some PDFs and templates may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need a file in another format, contact us and we will help.

We review these areas when we update the site.

04How the site is built

This website runs on Squarespace. Squarespace publishes its own accessibility information for the platform features we use, such as navigation, forms and the blog.
